Bert meets a young girl, Remy, in his old town, where she shows interest on the music box he's been keeping. As they get along, Bert's story unfolds, as he tells his life's ups and downs, back to when he was a young boy, to when the time he meets Elise, his childhood sweetheart, to his first heartbreak, to the time where he takes care of his grandma, to his first kiss and ultimately, to the time he knows, Elise is the one for him, his one true love. Here we realize, that Elise is not just any character in Bert's story.
