ESPANTAHO tells the story of (Juday), her mother Rosa (Lorna), husband Jack (JC) and son Keith (Kian), a dysfunctional family grieving the death of family patriarch Pabling (Emil Sandoval). The harvest from the rice land of Pabling helped them survive all these years, but when a drought ravaged the land, Monet had to put up a small business, buying and selling antiques.
